教育目的/学修到達目標 | 【教育目的】 1. To understand Japanese society, traditional arts and customs 2. To know more about Nara and and it's surroundings 3. To deepen the interest in Japanese culture 【学修到達目標】 (1) Students will be able to understand, explain, and describe uniqueness of Japanese culture, (2) Students will learn about Japanese society and be able to adjust well, (3) Students will be able to (discuss, overlook, organize, and express) evaluate, (4) Students will learn about differences between cultures and be able to operate at their workplace or home country. |
授業概要/指導方針 | 【授業概要/指導方針】 This course covers many aspects of Japanese cuture: history, religion, society, people, traditional arts (tea ceremony, ikebana, calligraphy, noh play), food and festivals. Registration for students will be based on first come, first served basis. The maximum number of students is 30. |
